"This was the first shoot I did with [Jenna] after Josh and I split up. I feel like a lot of times when women think about doing boudoir photos, they think about it in terms of doing something special for a partner. That a single woman may not be as inclined to do something like this 'just' for herself. But the strength, beauty, and confidence in seeing yourself doing something like this makes doing it for yourself more important than doing it with the intention of showing someone else.

Loving yourself and treating yourself well are far more important than a lot of people realize.

It can feel counterintuitive, even bordering on selfish to spoil yourself like this, but the better care you give yourself, the better you are able to provide support and care for others. You can’t fill from an empty cup."
