Miss A

January 2020

"You don't have to be naked to be sexy."

It's pretty normal to equate being sexy with showing skin. Typically, less always seemed to be more, when it came to sexy. But thankfully, people are starting to realize that showing more of your body is not the only way to share your beautiful energy in the world. Confidence is sexy. Strength is sexy. Intelligence, drive, intuition. Sexiness is all determined by personal preference and what a person values. For that reason, sexy is so much more than just what you or another person sees.

While I'm all about those things - and we all should be, Queens! - since we are dealing with photographs, we'll stick with the visual sexiness.

Wearing something comfortable can be JUST as sexy, it's all in the body language. Your outfit doesn't matter, your size and shape doesn't matter. Sexy is in the movement. It's in the position. It's in your expressions. Your eyes are one of the most expressive features, and it only takes a downward glance or a deliberate stare to make an image feel truly inviting.

And sexy!

In this session, one of my first of 2020, I worked with Miss A. She Chose to wear sweaters, long socks, comfy stuff. And she is sexy in Every. Single. Image.

Lingerie is not the only kind of sexy. You can be and feel sexy all day long. And why the heck not?! We deserve that shit! Maybe that is why women appreciate the art of boudoir more and more these days. We wear what we want, we see ourselves and others, and we say "she looks amazing".

THAT is what sexy really is.
