I've tried something new in this past year. I haven't gotten enough yet, so I hope to get a chance to do more. But couple's sessions are gaining some traction in the boudoir world and Miss S and her handsome W were willing to give it a shot. And not only were they willing to be vulnerable in front of the camera, but they were also willing to share their thoughts about the experience!

Miss S: "Boudoir... a daunting word at first for those of us who are extremely shy by nature. The thought of baring all - in front of a camera - in a strangers studio - can be a bit unnerving, but let me tell you; I couldn’t be happier that I took that plunge 2 years ago. From the moment I met Jenna, she was extremely welcoming and fun to be around. She always makes you feel so comfortable and the sessions always flow with ease and tons of laughter. Every pose she puts you in makes you feel so fierce and confident! I still look back at my photos and can not believe that it’s me in those images! The shy, self-conscious girl who usually hid herself away is now frozen in time as this strong, confident, sassy individual. Jenna is amazing at capturing that, and bringing it out in all of her clients. Her poses are always so tasteful and elegant.

I have grown so much on a personal level from these sessions, and wanted to share my love of it with my significant other. Jenna had pitched the idea a few months back, and unsure how he would take it, I chewed on the idea for a few weeks before deciding to share our ideas with him. An idea turned into a plan, which turned into reality, thanks to Jenna. I was able to share my love of the studio and powerful images with W. As always, the session flowed rather effortlessly, laughing away and before you knew it, time was up. As we were leaving the session, he said, ‘I can understand why you do that now. It’s very powerful and I really hope we can do it again. I loved sharing that experience with you and had so much fun.’ Boudoir now has a whole new meaning for me. Gone are the words I use to associate with it and in its place are things like self love, empowerment, courage, sass, sexy, powerful, and the best thing I could have done for myself."

W: "Jenna made the photo shoot an enjoyable experience for me. The shoot wasn’t something I was sure I was comfortable with personally, until I arrived and was able to see the operation and Jenna’s other work. The quality of her work was outstanding and the backdrop of the warehouse made the whole thing fun. She curbed my apprehensions and the final product was something that my girlfriend and I can look back on years down the road and enjoy the memories of our shoot together."
